In the past few weeks I’ve happened to get some of the sweetest “Thank You’s” from clients.
I always love when people take the time to actually hand write a note, put it in an envelope, put a stamp on it, and take it to a mail receptacle – wow, it sounds exhausting doesn’t it? Well it is an effort, and one I myself (as much as I appreciate it when someone else does it) don’t do nearly often enough.
But whether it comes in my mailbox, or in an email, I just want you to know how much it means to me. It really does. I save them. And the times I feel stuck, or frustrated, or uninspired, or not good enough, I look at them. And they help me to remember that even though I may not be the best, or as good as I might one day be (because aren’t we all hopefully striving to be better every day?), I am still able to create something meaningful for someone.
So I just thought I would take a moment to say thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me. It matters, and I’m feelin’ the love. And truly, is there anything sweeter than a 5 year old’s thank you card??
