Yet another gorgeous sunny day for this Northwest wedding in Snohomish, at Craven Farm. This year has just been hot hot hot!
One of my favorite things about Rachel and Chris’s wedding (aside from the wonderful group of people), was that Rachel’s wedding dress was custom made by Kimmi Designs using……you won’t believe this – her grandmother’s curtains, along with other pieces of lace and accents. I just love that kind of sentimentality turned functional! She is actually my second bride in the last couple of years to have her dress made by this designer. You can see Kaci’s dress in this older post.
Their theme was celestial….complete with moon and stars prop for a Photo Booth, and a telescope set up outside. Rachel looked like she was straight out of a vintage magazine…..such a sweet couple. Their entire entourage was just awesome – so much love going on here. One of her bridesmaids actually wrote a rap song for her toast! Hilarious and so original! We even got some added excitement when the sheriff came rolling up, looking for an escaped and dangerous convict….well now, that was a first.
