Really Rad Stuff

June 19, 2014

On a bit of a personal note, I have run across some things lately that I think are awesome, and I want to share! So – in no particular order, here we go!

imagegetter.jspI know this has been out for a while, but I have just gotten around to reading it. I’m doing some re-imagining of my business lately as I look forward to some of the changes that will be happening in my life in general in the next 5-10 years, and although much of what is in this book is not new so to speak, the methodology and ease of putting it into practice is fantastic. I strongly believe this should be a textbook in every high school  (in fact, I am currently pursuing that very thing). I’m smack in the middle of doing the 10-Day Transformation….eek. Some of it is a little uncomfortable, but in a really great way once you move through it. Highly Recommended.

Wow. This is free, and I love it! It is part of Intuit, and has excellent safety ratings. So much useful information and great resources, and a really wonderful, easy to use interface. At a glance you can see where you stand with your budget and finances. Totally awesome. Do it. Get that s#*t organized!

OK – a little self-disclosure here. My whole reason for looking at CRM software is because I love my clients. I am blessed to have had so many of them become friends over the years as they hire to me to record the milestones in their lives.  The upshot? I always want to show my appreciation of their continued support, but I lack any coordinated way of doing that, which results in very random attempts – with no particular consistency, and many (most) falling through the cracks. So I started doing a bit of research, and for a very nominal monthly fee this cloud-based program puts all my social media and contacts in one place where I can add notes, keep track, and schedule my “Thank-You’s”…I am so excited at the prospect of getting a handle on this, and I love the intuitive platform. Now I can email sweet little deals that I think a client might love, and send off little surprises and keep track of it all! Yay! (So if you want to add your email to the list, go here – no relentless emails, I promise…only stuff I think  you will really dig!)

If you are a small business owner – go check it out!

What a cool and unusual way to put little albums together!! Who wouldn’t love this!? So I’m sharing….and as soon as I order mine and receive them I’ll do a little review. The price is really reasonable too – about $50 for the Classic.
